Over time most of us have had a special place we lived, vacationed or had some other connection that we would like to have for a reminder of times gone by or for a permanent record of a part of our life. A memory on canvas. Often we are given a photograph or an address to go to for a reference shoot and feel for the atmosphere of the property and then we create the permanent record in oil on canvas. Nags Head, NC-this structure is no longer occupied but rather it is being preserved as a historical site. The painting is 20X24.

this was the home the owner grew up in and raised her family as well. The painting is 24X36.

when the wind blows here the ocean has been known to come right to the house. The painting is 12X16.

The private residence of a couple on the golf course in lower North Carolina. Painting is 16x20.
Serendipity
the focus of a motion picture, "Nights in Rodanthe". This painting depicts the home as it was being swallowed by the ocean. Just in time it was saved and moved to another oceanfront site. the painting is 36X24.
